Build recommendation systems that change how shoppers find products
Two-person team. Real problems with direct merchant feedback. Atlanta, GA (remote-friendly). If you join, you own a substantial piece of the product — not a backlog ticket.
Open roles
You'll own the full personalization API — from behavioral event ingestion through preference vector updates to recommendation ranking. This is not a peripheral role: the core of the product is this system. You'll work directly with Dawson to architect the next generation of the behavioral model, and you'll be the person who decides how we handle session continuity, cold-start edge cases, and latency constraints at scale.
Concretely: you'll be writing production code that runs for every session on every merchant storefront. When a shopper hovers on a product tile for 800ms and that signal needs to influence what they see in the next 200ms, your code is doing that work. We want someone who finds that kind of constraint interesting.
You'll own the entire content and distribution motion for Revlance. Content marketing is our primary go-to-market — the blog you're reading (or arrived from) is how most merchants find us. You'll write pieces that VP of Growth and Head of E-commerce readers trust because they're technically specific and honest about tradeoffs.
You'll also own partner relationships (Shopify Partners, agency ecosystem) and build the PLG funnel from trial signup to conversion. If you've spent time in DTC or e-commerce marketing and you understand why a tool like Revlance fits into a growth team's workflow — this is the role.
What working here is like
Don't see a role that fits? We're a 2-person team and we hire carefully. If you have a specific skill that would genuinely make Revlance better — recommendation systems, DTC operations, product design — write to us anyway. We read every email.
